One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many
scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were
two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my
life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the
Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of
footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

As I step into 2012, I do so with joy and expectation. Last year I had to make some really tough decisions, concerning family and career. For the first time in my life I stepped outside my parameters and walked in faith, today I reap the benefits of these positive steps. I won't be afraid any more!

As I have scrapped almost all my DD photos, I still had odd ones left that would not really make a LO and so the snippets concept evolved.
the photos encompass the first 10 years of her life I always put a butterfly somewhere on her LO's
ribbon and lace... can't do an LO without them :)
Photos that had "horror of horrors" been cut up were collaged and placed under the flaps. I am not very good with journalling but do realise the importance of it, so often use definitions and on this LO even did some handwriting!
Until next time
have a scraplicious week

What a great way to use up the extra photos we all have that really don't go together. Love the title, it fits the idea behind the layout perfectly.
