Countdown to Christmas.

My final sketch for the August to November term.  I have had so much fun. I am honoured and blessed to have been chosen for another term at Let's Scrap.
This term started on  1 December and I look forward to working with the very  talented women.

There are a number of South African girls on the team:
Elizna,Roulien,Jeaunnes, Erica
The other ladies on the team are Kay, Mindi, Sue, Susannah, Michelle, Betty Flea, and Beth .  Our Admins are Betty-Anne Orr and Debbie de Wilde
I found this poem on Erica,s blog and wanted to share it with you.
 STRANGERS IN THE BOX

Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box, I’ve often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still serene;
I wish I knew these people
These strangers in the box.
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks;
I wonder what their lives were like,
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I’ll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where and when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the picture we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday will pass away.
Make time to save your stories;
Seize opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in this box!

Fantastic layout Wilna. I am so glad you have joined us for another term over at Let's Scrap.
The Strangers in the Box is one of my favorite poems and I used it for the front of my heritage album. I have many strangers in the box of old photo's I have.
