Our deepest fear is not
that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
Well, I have been on this journey of courage this year and so far it has paid off. The Whacky Market has made the Top 30 in an Ilembe sponsored Entrepreneur competition, I am learning so much and enjoying it. After attending Nadia's Creative Workshop I was inspired to craft again and using the fabric swatches I have left over from the cushions made this door stop.
I covered a concrete brick with some bubble wrap I had lying around the house, turned it into a parcel and made some rolled fabric flowers. Viola, a door stop to match my cushions.
until next time have a craftilicious day
