This week, six years ago my Mum lost her fight with breast cancer, and I just know that somewhere in heaven my mummy is sewing angel clothes.  I can't say that it gets any easier, I still miss her very much, I miss her wisdom and her love. When I first saw this Sewing embellishment kit from Enmarc I just knew I was going to do a mixed media canvas honouring my Mum's amazing sewing skills.

I altered the dress form by placing it on the angel and trimming off all the bits that poked out.

I covered the dress form with pattern paper and gathered the lace on ribbon.  Using Diamond Glaze I glued the pearls down.  I inked all the embellishments
